Furniture design. The principles of form follows function could not be more relevant.

Furniture is a part of our everyday life. It serves a purpose to meet our demands of both comfort and convenience. This is where my journey of transforming a utilitarian object into a piece of artwork begins.

My furniture translates functionality to a visually aesthetic, one-of-a-kind piece of art. These sculptures can withstand everyday household use, while posing as a table. With an economic conscience, I feel it is important to create sustainable pieces, and with the use of hard plywood and recyclable materials such as stainless steel, I have fabricated two end tables and a coffee table. These are not high-quality materials, however, I have produced an elegant end-product based on my design vision.

The name of the series is Continuum, as the lines of wood follow the contemporary form in a natural rhythmic motion.
